Otto

Otto and his sister, Kitty, were left outside the municipal perrera as very young puppies. Luckily, the large shelter in Malaga that we work alongside stepped in and took them. From there, SOS stepped in and they moved to our shelter. Kitty has since found a wonderful home in Sweden, but Otto is still waiting.

He is a lovely, funny boy with a big personality. He gets on well with all of our other shelter dogs and loves afternoon playtime in the garden. However, Otto is just as happy curled up on someone’s lap and snoozing in the sunshine. He is an intelligent dog and eager to please, which makes training fun. He walks nicely on the lead in one-to-one situations but sometimes gets over-excited in group situations. However, he is easy to calm down and training in this area is going well.

Otto is ready for a family of his own and would suit an active family or someone who loves walking and seeks a companion dog. He could live as an only dog, but he enjoys the company of others, so it would be important to have some canine friends.

Our vet estimates that Otto was born around August 2022. He currently weighs 13 kg and is 52 cm tall. Otto is leishmaniasis-negative and holds an EU-issued Pet Passport.
