Forki was picked up as a stray puppy and taken to the Malaga pound. Sadly, he waited there for many months without finding a home so we brought him to SOS in April.
He is a lovely young boy and has settled very quickly at our shelter. Forki gets on well with our other dogs and has become a firm favourite with our volunteers. He enjoys his twice-daily walks to the river and is always keen to join in games in the garden and cuddles with our volunteers.
We recently took Forki for a car ride into our local town for some environmental training. This went well and he was happy and relaxed when meeting new people in new situations. He even went to a café where he sat quietly watching the world go by. It is hard to believe that Forki has spent most of his life in a shelter.
Forki really deserves a loving home of his own. He is a young, active dog with a lot of love to give and would fit into most families prepared to continue his social training. He is keen to learn and loves treats which makes training easy. Forki could live with another dog or as an only dog.
Born in January 2023, Forki currently weighs 20 kg and is 54 cm tall. He is negative for leishmaniasis and holds an EU-issued Pet Passport.
