Handsome boy Ben was found as a stray wandering the streets of an inland village when he was just a few months old. The people who found him took him to a local shelter, and he lived there for nearly three years until we brought him to our SOS shelter in early January 2021.

Ben is super friendly with everyone he meets, and although he loves fuss and attention, he is not demanding. He’s good with the other shelter dogs but is sometimes initially reactive with new dogs, but is fine once he gets to know them. He loves to use his nose and enjoys nothing more than exploring the enriched environment of the shelter grounds. Ben is an intelligent dog who is eager to learn, and his new family must be willing to help him with some basic training which he missed out on as a youngster. He is a great dog with a lot of potential.

Probably a Mastin/Shepherd cross, Ben was born around December 2017 and is 65 cm tall. He currently weighs 30 kg but needs to gain a little weight.

We haven’t tested Ben around children or cats yet, but we can arrange this as necessary.
